Valsetz Falls, also called Siletz Falls, is a 41-foot waterfall on the Siletz River in Lincoln County, Oregon.
The falls
The single, unclassified drop is recorded at 41 feet, at an elevation given as 642 feet, slightly above the 633-foot figure used elsewhere for the site. No description of the drop's form, water source, or seasonal flow has been published.
Getting there
No trailhead, parking area, or signed route to the falls has been published. Oregon's Mid-Coast fish and wildlife access map places the surrounding land in a mix of private timber holdings and Siletz Tribal land: reaching the tribal side requires a Siletz Tribal Land permit, and the private timber side follows the landowner's own conditions. General access on that map runs from about an hour before sunrise to an hour after sunset, and it closes entirely during Level 4 fire season. Oregon's boating rule allows public use of the river itself but not crossing private land without the owner's permission. Viewpoints, swimming, dog rules, and any record of deaths or rescues at the falls are not documented.
