Alpine Cascades is a 280-foot waterfall on Cascade Alpine Brook in Coos County, New Hampshire, in the Northeastern Highlands region. It lies about 1.4 miles south of Berlin and roughly 71.3 miles northwest of Portland as the crow flies.
At 280 feet it stands in the tallest quarter of New Hampshire’s 115 waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 12th; the typical New Hampshire waterfall is about 30 feet. By form it is a tiered waterfall, falling in several distinct steps one after another. It falls in 11 drops.
