The falls
A lidar-based reading puts the current drop at about 30 feet, and the reading is unconfirmed. The falls were once two-tiered and roughly 10 to 15 feet taller; flood deposition from the late 1980s through the mid-2000s buried the lower tier, and the current drop count is not published.
Getting there
Wallowa Lake State Park is open year-round for day use and camping, and a one-day parking permit is required. No official trail, distance, or surface specific to the falls is documented.
When to go
The park's Little Alps day-use area, farther upriver toward the falls between the river forks, is open only seasonally.
