Bear Rapids is a stretch of rapids in Wood County, Ohio, in the Huron/Erie Lake Plains region. It lies about 4.2 miles west of Haskins and roughly 19.1 miles southwest of Toledo as the crow flies.
The Huron/Erie Lake Plains are flat lakebed lowlands of former swamp forest, now farmland; waterfalls are rare.
It is the only recorded rapid in Wood County. Maumee Rapids, is about 6.6 miles away.
