Egelhoffs Rapid is a stretch of rapids in Keya Paha County, Nebraska, in the Northwestern Great Plains region. It lies about 21.4 miles east of Valentine as the crow flies.
The Northwestern Great Plains are semi-arid rolling grassland with badlands and isolated buttes. Waterfalls are small and found on the few streams that cut through resistant rock.
It is the only recorded rapid in Keya Paha County. The Chute, is about 4.3 miles away. Conners Rapid, is about 5.9 miles away.
