Maumee Rapids is a stretch of rapids in Lucas County, Ohio, in the Huron/Erie Lake Plains region. It lies about 1.7 miles north of Waterville and roughly 12.4 miles southwest of Toledo as the crow flies.
The Huron/Erie Lake Plains are flat lakebed lowlands of former swamp forest, now farmland; waterfalls are rare.
It is the only recorded rapid in Lucas County. Bear Rapids, is about 6.6 miles away.
