Mousetail Eddy is a stretch of rapids in Perry County, Tennessee, in the Interior Plateau region. It lies about 6.4 miles northeast of Parsons and roughly 44.6 miles east of Jackson as the crow flies.
The Interior Plateau is a rolling limestone landscape of pasture, oak-hickory woodland and cedar glades in Kentucky and Tennessee, riddled with springs, sinkholes and caves. Waterfalls drop over limestone ledges and in karst valleys.
