Schock Rapids is a stretch of rapids in Kane County, Utah, in the Colorado Plateaus region. It lies about 52.2 miles northeast of Page as the crow flies.
The Colorado Plateaus are a high desert of layered sandstone mesas, canyons and plateaus with pinyon-juniper woodland and sagebrush. Waterfalls here are often seasonal, spilling over sandstone ledges after storms or snowmelt.
