Sitting Bull Rapids is a stretch of rapids in Big Horn County, Montana, in the Northwestern Great Plains region. It lies about 7.7 miles southwest of Hardin and roughly 41.3 miles east of Billings as the crow flies.
The Northwestern Great Plains are semi-arid rolling grassland with badlands and isolated buttes. Waterfalls are small and found on the few streams that cut through resistant rock.
It is the only recorded rapid in Big Horn County.
