Tippins Eddy is a stretch of rapids in Escambia County, Alabama, in the Southeastern Plains region. It lies about 4.7 miles north of Brewton and roughly 51.4 miles north of East Pensacola Heights as the crow flies.
The Southeastern Plains are rolling, sandy uplands of longleaf and loblolly pine, oak and farmland; waterfalls are few and small, over sandstone or clay ledges.
It is the only recorded rapid in Escambia County.

The listing is based on the USGS Geographic Names Information System, one of the sources compiled by the U.S. Geological Survey in its inventory of waterfalls and rapids of the conterminous United States.
