Trout Rapids is a stretch of rapids in Stillwater County, Montana, in the Northwestern Great Plains region. It lies about 7.7 miles southeast of Columbus and roughly 32.5 miles southwest of Billings as the crow flies.
The Northwestern Great Plains are semi-arid rolling grassland with badlands and isolated buttes. Waterfalls are small and found on the few streams that cut through resistant rock.
It is the only recorded rapid in Stillwater County.
