Buttermilk Falls is a 30-foot cascade on private land in Summit County, Ohio, about 0.4 mile from Blue Hen Falls and 2.8 miles from Boston Heights.
The falls
The single fall is a gradual sliding cascade, set in the rolling glacial farmland and shale-and-sandstone bluff country of the Erie Drift Plain south of Lake Erie. An approximate lidar measurement puts the drop at 30 feet, at an elevation of about 729 feet.
Getting there
The falls are posted private property and closed to general access, with no lawful public route to them. Cuyahoga Valley National Park itself charges no entrance fee, but that does not open access across the private land here.

Do not enter beyond the posted property line. The National Park Service's rules for Cuyahoga Valley separately prohibit rock or ice climbing at Buttermilk Falls. Public parking, a trail, accessibility, and dog and swimming rules are not documented for this waterfall.
