Chilhowee Cascades is a waterfall in Monroe County, Tennessee, in the Blue Ridge region, with a total height of about 80 feet. It lies about 11.3 miles southeast of Greenback and roughly 29.5 miles south of Knoxville as the crow flies.
At 80 feet it stands in the tallest quarter of Tennessee’s 332 waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 35th; the typical Tennessee waterfall is about 30 feet. The water comes down as a cascade, descending over a series of rock steps rather than in a single drop.
