Devils Canyon Falls is a 63-foot waterfall on Devils Canyon in Franklin County, Arkansas, in the Boston Mountains region. It lies about 9.5 miles north of Mulberry and roughly 26.8 miles northeast of Fort Smith as the crow flies.
At 63 feet it stands in the tallest quarter of Arkansas’s 110 waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 23rd; the typical Arkansas waterfall is about 34 feet. By form it is a plunge, where the water drops vertically and loses contact with the rock face.
The Boston Mountains are the highest and most rugged part of the Ozarks, deeply dissected sandstone plateaus covered in oak-hickory forest with shortleaf pine. Clear creeks cut narrow hollows with numerous bluff-line waterfalls, at their best in spring.
