Falls View Falls is a 200-foot waterfall in Jefferson County, Washington, in the Coast Range region. It lies about 11.1 miles northwest of Bangor Trident Base and roughly 27.5 miles west of Shoreline as the crow flies.
At 200 feet it stands in the tallest quarter of Washington’s 941 waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 199th; the typical Washington waterfall is about 82 feet. By form it is a horsetail, where the water keeps some contact with the bedrock as it falls.
The Coast Range is a belt of steep, deeply dissected hills along the Pacific, wrapped in dense temperate rainforest of Douglas fir, western hemlock, Sitka spruce and red alder.
