Galena Creek Falls is an unofficial, 85-foot horsetail waterfall on Galena Creek in Washoe County, Nevada, beside the Mount Rose Trail.

A lidar estimate on the World Waterfall Database puts the total height at about 85 feet. The falls remain unconfirmed, and the name is not official.
Getting there
The route starts at the Mount Rose Summit parking lot on State Route 431 and follows the Mount Rose Trail, reaching the falls on the easier first portion of the path. The full trail continues to the Mount Rose summit, 4.6 miles one way, with a 10.7-mile round trip and about 2,300 feet of elevation gain to the top; the falls sit well short of that. The route is on Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest land. An official trailhead page, current fee, and accessibility statement specific to the falls have not been published.
When to go
The falls can stay buried under snow into July but keep flowing into late summer. In winter, the Mount Rose route is described as a snowshoe outing after snowfall.
