Gar Island Cascade is a 50-foot waterfall in DeKalb County, Tennessee, in the Interior Plateau region. It lies about 11.5 miles southeast of Smithville and roughly 39.9 miles east of Murfreesboro as the crow flies.
At 50 feet it stands in the tallest quarter of Tennessee’s 332 waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 78th; the typical Tennessee waterfall is about 30 feet.
