Horseshoe Falls is an 8-foot waterfall on Ausable River in Essex County, New York, in the Eastern Great Lakes Lowlands region. It lies about 1.6 miles northeast of Keeseville and roughly 120.6 miles north of Schenectady as the crow flies.
At 8 feet it is one of the lowest falls in the state’s records: of the 184 New York waterfalls with a documented height only 3 are shorter, while the typical New York waterfall stands around 50.5 feet.
