Horsetail Falls is a 90-foot waterfall on Horse Creek in Mono County, California, near the Hoover Wilderness boundary of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, about 29.2 miles north of Yosemite Valley.

The World Waterfall Database entry for this Horse Creek fall is marked unconfirmed. It is also recorded under the alternate name Horse Creek Falls. This is a separate feature from two other falls named Horsetail Falls in Mono County: a 100-foot fall on a McGee Creek tributary and a 325-foot fall on Rush Creek. The site sits at about 7,975 feet of elevation.
Getting there
Horse Creek is a quota trailhead for the Hoover Wilderness, part of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. Overnight wilderness permits are required year-round; during the June 15 to October 15 quota season they cost $8 per person age 13 or older plus a $6 reservation fee.
