Katahdin Falls is a waterfall on tributary of Katahdin Stream in Piscataquis County, Maine, in the Northeastern Highlands region, with a total height of about 800 feet. It lies about 20.9 miles northwest of Millinocket as the crow flies.
At 800 feet it is among the ten tallest of the 80 Maine waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 1st. The tallest single drop is 260 feet. The water comes down as a tiered waterfall, falling in several distinct steps one after another.
