Krause Springs Falls is a 20-foot spring-fed waterfall at Krause Springs, a privately operated site near Spicewood in Burnet County, Texas, about 7.9 miles northwest of Briarcliff.
The falls
The falls drop from a spring source into a natural swimming pool. The World Waterfall Database lists the drop at 20 feet and marks the feature Unconfirmed; it gives no tallest-drop figure beyond the total.
Getting there
Krause Springs is privately operated and currently advertises daily hours of 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with camping available in primitive sites and 24 RV sites. The operator does not publish a day-use admission price; Hot Springs Guides, checked in September 2026, lists day admission at $9 for ages 12 and up, $5 for ages 5 to 11, and free for children under 5. Parking, an accessible route and any reservation requirement are not documented.
