The falls
The current World Waterfall Database height is 15 feet in one step, matching the county tourism guide; older records for the site put the height at 20 feet. The plunge is broad, becoming segmented as flow drops, and strongest in spring. The Miami Conservancy District marks the site at Ludlow Creek river mile 1.2 and directs paddlers to portage on the right of the falls.
Getting there
The falls sit in the Village of Ludlow Falls. Access is from a dirt lot at 110 Covington Avenue, across from the post office, with a short path to the falls. The bridge above the falls is identified as SR 55 by the conservancy district and as Route 48 in a hiking guide. Trail distance, elevation gain, fee, hours and a current open/closed status have not been documented.
When to go
Spring brings the strongest flow; later in the year the falls can break up into separate strands.

A short path on the north side leads under the bridge, where an old stairway descends into the gorge; the south side is steeper, with views that are more obstructed. A county visitors guide states the falls are for viewing only.
