Neal Shoals is a waterfall in Union County, South Carolina, in the Piedmont region. It lies about 8.6 miles southeast of Monarch Mill and roughly 29.9 miles southwest of Rock Hill as the crow flies.

The Piedmont is rolling upland between the Appalachians and the coastal plain, with mixed oak-pine forest, farmland and expanding cities. Waterfalls mark the fall line and the rocky beds of rivers crossing hard crystalline rock.
