Rock Falls is a 25-foot waterfall on Havasu Creek in Coconino County, Arizona, in the Arizona/New Mexico Plateau region. It lies about 33.4 miles northwest of Grand Canyon Village and roughly 76.9 miles southeast of Saint George as the crow flies.
At 25 feet it is one of the lowest falls in the state’s records: of the 29 Arizona waterfalls with a documented height only 3 are shorter, while the typical Arizona waterfall stands around 140 feet. By form it is a block waterfall, wider than it is tall, spilling over a broad ledge.
The Arizona/New Mexico Plateau is a high, semi-arid tableland of grassland, sagebrush and pinyon-juniper woodland cut by canyons.
