Rusho Creek Falls is a 504-foot waterfall on Rusho Creek in Grant County, Washington, in the Columbia Plateau region. It lies about 9.4 miles southwest of Electric City and roughly 80.6 miles west of Spokane as the crow flies.
At 504 feet it stands in the tallest quarter of Washington’s 941 waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 67th; the typical Washington waterfall is about 82 feet. By form it is a horsetail, where the water keeps some contact with the bedrock as it falls.
The Columbia Plateau is a vast expanse of layered basalt flows covered by sagebrush steppe, grassland and dryland wheat. Waterfalls here drop over basalt cliffs in coulees and river canyons carved by ancient floods.
