Timberline Falls is a cascade waterfall on Middle Saint Vrain Creek in Boulder County, Colorado, about 12.3 miles north of Nederland, beside the Buchanan Pass Trail west of Camp Dick.
The falls
The creek comes down as a cascade next to the trail, about 2.2 miles in, where two small falls drop beside the path at an elevation of about 9,220 feet.
Getting there
The Middle Saint Vrain trailhead sits at the west end of Camp Dick, where a day-use pass is required and there is parking for about 30 vehicles but no restroom. High-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles can continue another four miles on a rough, unpaved road to the Buchanan Pass trailhead, and the falls are about 2.2 miles along the trail from there, beside the path rather than at its end.
