Uncompahgre River Falls is a 200-foot waterfall on Uncompahgre River in Ouray County, Colorado, in the Southern Rockies region. It lies about 2.6 miles southeast of Ouray and roughly 88.8 miles southeast of Grand Junction as the crow flies.
At 200 feet it stands in the tallest quarter of Colorado’s 162 waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 30th; the typical Colorado waterfall is about 65 feet. By form it is a cascade, descending over a series of rock steps rather than in a single drop.
