Chase Ripple is a stretch of rapids in Lawrence County, Indiana, in the Interior Plateau region. It lies about 10.9 miles west of Mitchell and roughly 27.9 miles south of Bloomington as the crow flies.
The Interior Plateau is a rolling limestone landscape of pasture, oak-hickory woodland and cedar glades in Kentucky and Tennessee, riddled with springs, sinkholes and caves. Waterfalls drop over limestone ledges and in karst valleys.
It is the only recorded rapid in Lawrence County. Rock Riffle, is about 26.6 miles away.
