Galla Shoal is a stretch of rapids in Yell County, Arkansas, in the Arkansas Valley region. It lies about 5.6 miles south of Atkins and roughly 26.8 miles west of Conway as the crow flies.
The Arkansas Valley is a lowland of plains and low ridges between the Ozarks and the Ouachitas, with oak forest, pasture and cropland and a handful of small waterfalls on its ridges.
It is the only recorded rapid in Yell County.
