Ninefoot Rapids is a stretch of rapids in Owyhee County, Idaho, in the Snake River Plain region. It lies about 15.2 miles southwest of Mountain Home and roughly 45.5 miles south of Boise as the crow flies.
The Snake River Plain is a broad, arid basin of basalt lava and sagebrush, with irrigated farmland along the river. Waterfalls occur where the Snake and its spring-fed tributaries cut through the basalt.
It is the only recorded rapid in Owyhee County.
