Walnut Eddy is a stretch of rapids in Grant County, Wisconsin, in the Driftless Area region. It lies about 4.2 miles south of Prairie du Chien and roughly 41 miles northwest of Dubuque as the crow flies.
The Driftless Area escaped the last glaciers, leaving a deeply dissected landscape of steep bluffs, coulees and spring-fed trout streams under oak and maple forest. Small waterfalls drop over limestone and sandstone ledges.
It is the only recorded rapid in Grant County.
