Alder Glen Falls is a 30-foot veiling waterfall on an unnamed creek that joins the Nestucca River, inside the Bureau of Land Management's Alder Glen Recreation Site in Tillamook County, Oregon.
The falls
The creek veils over a basalt ledge before reaching the Nestucca. In winter, flow can span the whole ledge; by summer it narrows to a small stream partly hidden by vegetation.
Getting there
The falls lie within the Alder Glen Recreation Site, managed by the Bureau of Land Management's Northwest Oregon District. They can be seen from the 11-site campground in higher flow, with the clearest view found about two-thirds of the way around the loop. The site has paved parking, vault toilets, water, and an accessible river and fishing platform, though a route to the falls themselves is not documented as accessible. Camping costs $15 a night for one vehicle and $5 for each additional vehicle, booked through Recreation.gov. An August 2026 BLM notice about a closure at a nearby campground listed Alder Glen itself as open.
When to go
The campground generally runs from May through September and stays open through the second weekend of elk season. The falls run strongest, and are easiest to see, in winter high flow. The access byway is open year-round but can be hazardous in snow and ice.

The recreation site includes river access and an accessible fishing platform. Whether a maintained path reaches the base of the falls, and what the dog and swimming rules are, is not documented.
