Ape Canyon Falls is a 700-foot waterfall on Ape Canyon Creek in Skamania County, Washington, in the Cascades region. It lies about 25 miles northeast of Amboy and roughly 46.4 miles northeast of Vancouver as the crow flies.
At 700 feet it stands in the tallest quarter of Washington’s 941 waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 46th; the typical Washington waterfall is about 82 feet. By form it is a horsetail, where the water keeps some contact with the bedrock as it falls.
