Apple Orchard Falls is a waterfall in Botetourt County, Virginia, in the Blue Ridge region, with a total height of about 150 feet. It lies about 8.1 miles east of Buchanan and roughly 21 miles west of West Lynchburg as the crow flies.
At 150 feet it stands in the tallest quarter of Virginia’s 53 waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 11th; the typical Virginia waterfall is about 69 feet. The water comes down as a tiered waterfall, falling in several distinct steps one after another.
