A 2026 U.S. Board on Geographic Names review proposal sets the drop at 20 feet, and Northern New York Waterfalls measured it at 25 feet; neither figure has been confirmed by a newer survey.

The falls sit on private property. Past visits needed the owner's permission, and a former account of an easy, quarter-mile one-way approach is not permission to enter the land today. No current access status, land manager, trailhead, parking area, fee, hours, or permit exists for the site, and no season, flow, or crowd pattern has been recorded. No swimming, dog, accessibility, or hazard information exists either.

A 2026 federal name-review proposal would make "Beaver Falls" the official name, chosen for the waterfall's association with nearby Beaver Meadows, and the property owners supported the proposal.
