Bridal Veil Falls is a horsetail waterfall in Snohomish County, Washington, within the Henry M. Jackson Wilderness, about 19.7 miles northeast of Gold Bar.
The falls
The single-drop fall is a confirmed feature near Sloan Peak, at an elevation of about 3,417 feet, but no total height has been published for it. It is a separate waterfall from the taller Bridal Veil Falls near Index, which has its own listing. The surrounding North Cascades hold glaciers and heavy snowfall, and meltwater from snowfields feeds many cascades and horsetail falls like this one down the surrounding cliffs.
Getting there
Access within the wilderness is by hiking only, through the steep, forested valley terrain typical of this part of the North Cascades; no trailhead, maintained route, or fee or permit information is documented for this waterfall. Gold Bar is the nearest town, and Marysville, the nearest larger city, is about 38.5 miles to the west.
