Buck Hill Falls is an 80-foot waterfall on Buck Hill Creek in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, about 0.9 mile from Canadensis in the Poconos. It sits on private land inside the Buck Hill Falls community, and members of the public can see it only by appointment on a guided visit.
The falls
The World Waterfall Database, working from lidar data, describes the creek dropping about 80 feet in three distinct steps, the tallest about 45 feet. Other measurements split the drop into upper and middle falls totalling 56 feet and a lower plunge of 34 feet. The falls lie beside Jenkins Woods, an old-growth forest preserved in a landscape that was otherwise logged.
Getting there
The falls are on private property. The trails around them are open to Buck Hill Falls residents and their guests, and the general public may visit the falls and Jenkins Woods only by appointment and with a guide; visits are arranged by calling the Buck Hill Falls Company. The falls trail is a short out-and-back, and guided hikes are announced in community newsletters. Trail distance, parking and fees for visitors are not published.

A stair tower leads down to the base, and a path with railings runs along the upper falls. Rebuilding the falls stairs is planned as a 2026–2027 project, so parts of the route may be under construction.
History and name
The Buck Hill Falls Company bought the land in 1901. The 1955 flood knocked about six feet of the upper ledge loose; it was set back in place by crane and reinforced. The lower pool and the stair tower were restored in 2001–2002, and the upper path and railings in 2010.
