Cucumber Falls is a single plunge on Cucumber Run in Ohiopyle State Park, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, with a current height of about 37 feet.
The falls
The falls drop in one plunge over resistant sandstone of the Allegheny Formation, above softer shale and thin coal, before Cucumber Run continues on to the Youghiogheny River. A current listing shows a height of about 37 feet; other measurements have put the drop as low as 30 feet.
Getting there
Parking for this easily reached bridal-veil fall is on Kentuck Road; a separate, more difficult riverside trail covers 0.5 mile of natural rock terrain and is prone to flooding. The park is open year-round from sunrise to dusk, and Pennsylvania state parks charge no entrance or day-use fee.
When to go
Photos taken after a July 2001 thunderstorm show much higher flow than normal midsummer levels.

Pets must be attended and physically controlled — leashed, caged or crated — in permitted areas. In July 2025, a missing 15-year-old was found safe near the falls after five hours. The following month, storm-felled trees blocked trails in the area and rescuers assisted visitors.
