Elves Chasm is a horsetail waterfall on Royal Arch Creek in Grand Canyon National Park, Coconino County, Arizona, at river mile 117.2 on the Colorado River and an elevation of about 2,273 feet, roughly 19.5 miles northwest of Grand Canyon Village and 82.3 miles northwest of Flagstaff.

Royal Arch Creek drops here in a single horsetail. World Waterfall Database's Arizona list carries the waterfall as a confirmed entry, though it gives no height figure. One of the site's photographs shows a pool at the base with maidenhair ferns.
Getting there
Grand Canyon National Park requires a permit for every river trip, and current noncommercial regulations place Elves Chasm at river mile 117.2. A noncommercial Lees Ferry-to-Diamond Creek permit costs $110 per participant.
On site
Camping is prohibited within a quarter mile of the Royal Arch Creek confluence and the chasm itself. Between a quarter and half mile upstream, visitors are asked not to disturb maidenhair fern and monkeyflower habitat. Rules on swimming, jumping and dogs are not documented.
