Hawthorne Falls is a 40-foot waterfall on West Fork North Branch Gale River in Grafton County, New Hampshire, in the Northeastern Highlands region. It lies about 2.5 miles south of Deerfield and roughly 76.4 miles northwest of Portland as the crow flies.
At 40 feet it is taller than the typical New Hampshire waterfall of about 30 feet, ranking 45th of 115 with a recorded height. By form it is a horsetail, where the water keeps some contact with the bedrock as it falls.
