High Falls is a waterfall on Towaliga River in Monroe County, Georgia, in the Piedmont region, with a total height of about 50 feet. It lies about 7.1 miles southwest of Indian Springs and roughly 32.3 miles northwest of Macon as the crow flies.
At 50 feet it is taller than the typical Georgia waterfall of about 44.5 feet, ranking 31st of 80 with a recorded height.
The Piedmont is rolling upland between the Appalachians and the coastal plain, with mixed oak-pine forest, farmland and expanding cities. Waterfalls mark the fall line and the rocky beds of rivers crossing hard crystalline rock.
It is the only recorded waterfall in Monroe County. Falling Creek Falls, is about 16.4 miles away.
