Honeymoon Falls is a waterfall in Bell County, Kentucky, in the Central Appalachians region, with a total height of about 25 feet. It lies about 3 miles southwest of Pineville and roughly 54.9 miles north of Knoxville as the crow flies.
At 25 feet it is on the modest side for Kentucky, where the typical waterfall with a recorded height stands around 40 feet; it ranks 19th of 25. The water comes down as a plunge, where the water drops vertically and loses contact with the rock face.
The Central Appalachians are a high, rugged plateau of sandstone and shale with mixed oak, hemlock and northern hardwood forest and a cool, wet climate. Streams drop steeply through gorges and hollows over sandstone ledges.
