La Follette Falls is a 150-foot waterfall in Clallam County, Washington, in the Coast Range region. It lies about 22.2 miles northeast of Forks and roughly 77.6 miles west of Shoreline as the crow flies.
At 150 feet it is taller than the typical Washington waterfall of about 82 feet, ranking 280th of 941 with a recorded height. By form it is a horsetail, where the water keeps some contact with the bedrock as it falls.
The Coast Range is a belt of steep, deeply dissected hills along the Pacific, wrapped in dense temperate rainforest of Douglas fir, western hemlock, Sitka spruce and red alder. Heavy winter rain feeds short, fast creeks lined with ferns, salmonberry and moss that drop steeply toward the ocean or the Columbia.
