Little Clifty Falls is a 60-foot plunge waterfall on Little Clifty Creek in Clifty Falls State Park, Jefferson County, Indiana.
The falls
The World Waterfall Database lists a single 60-foot drop here, confirmed rather than estimated. Little Clifty Creek, which gives the falls its name, is a separate stream from Big Clifty Creek, which feeds Clifty Falls a tenth of a mile away. The park sits in Indiana's Interior Plateau, a limestone landscape riddled with springs, sinkholes and caves, where waterfalls drop over limestone ledges in karst valleys; the geology and flow source of Little Clifty Falls itself are not documented.
Getting there
Indiana DNR's Trail 7 passes the falls on a 1.25-mile route with rocky footing rated moderately rugged. The 2026 daily admission to Clifty Falls State Park is $7 per Indiana vehicle, $15 per out-of-state vehicle, or $2 per pedestrian or cyclist age five and up; annual passes are accepted.
