Lower Sandstone Falls is a 35-foot waterfall on Sandstone Creek in Clackamas County, Oregon, in the Cascades region. It lies about 18.3 miles southeast of Estacada and roughly 32.9 miles southeast of Gresham as the crow flies.
At 35 feet it is on the modest side for Oregon, where the typical waterfall with a recorded height stands around 54 feet; it ranks 282nd of 425.
The Cascades are a high volcanic range of snow-capped peaks, deep glacial valleys and dense conifer forest of Douglas fir, western hemlock and true firs, with abundant rain and snow on the western slopes.
