Mule Trail Falls is a 31-foot waterfall on Lower Fork of Whitaker Creek in Newton County, Arkansas, in the Boston Mountains region. It lies about 21 miles southeast of Huntsville and roughly 41.2 miles east of Fayetteville as the crow flies.
At 31 feet it is on the modest side for Arkansas, where the typical waterfall with a recorded height stands around 34 feet; it ranks 58th of 110. By form it is a plunge, where the water drops vertically and loses contact with the rock face.
