Multnomah Falls is an 80-foot tiered horsetail waterfall on the Nespelem River in Okanogan County, Washington, south of the town of Nespelem on the Colville Indian Reservation. It shares its name with the Oregon waterfall but is a separate falls, seen from a reservation road.
The falls
The Nespelem River slides down three horsetail tiers in a steep canyon, the tallest about 55 feet. The 80-foot total height is an estimate, as the only viewpoint is too far away for an accurate measurement.
Getting there
The route follows paved BIA Route 10 from the Colville Indian Agency for about 2.5 miles to a sharp left-hand bend where the road descends into the canyon; the falls are visible below the road on the left. Parking there is scarce, and no trail is documented. The land belongs to the Colville Reservation, and Colville Tribes Parks and Recreation handles recreation questions on tribal land.

Flow is strongest from winter through spring.

This is a roadside view only. The canyon is steep and dangerous to descend, and scrambling to the base may not be acceptable on tribal land; an easier descent would cross residential property.
