Oil Creek Falls is a 200-foot waterfall on Oil Creek in Archuleta County, Colorado, in the Southern Rockies region. It lies about 13.2 miles east of Pagosa Springs and roughly 118.8 miles northwest of Santa Fe as the crow flies.
At 200 feet it stands in the tallest quarter of Colorado’s 162 waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 30th; the typical Colorado waterfall is about 65 feet. By form it is a horsetail, where the water keeps some contact with the bedrock as it falls.
