Getting there
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation manages the surrounding Delaware Wild Forest. From the Russell Brook Road parking lot, about 0.6 mile west of Morton Hill Road, the Trout Pond Trail crosses Russell Brook a short distance below the falls. A primitive campsite and privy near the trailhead are wheelchair accessible; the route on to the falls itself is not described as accessible.

Russell Brook Road doubles as a winter snowmobile trail and a seasonal road, and snowshoeing is permitted in the area in winter.
