Snowshoe Falls is a waterfall on West Fork Lolo Creek in Missoula County, Montana, in the Northern Rockies region, with a total height of about 20 feet. It lies about 23.9 miles west of Lolo and roughly 30.5 miles southwest of Missoula as the crow flies.
At 20 feet it is one of the lowest falls in the state’s records: of the 123 Montana waterfalls with a documented height only 3 are shorter, while the typical Montana waterfall stands around 250 feet. The water comes down as a horsetail, where the water keeps some contact with the bedrock as it falls.
